Scrapbooking at Goodwill

I enjoy scrapbooking, but it can be an expensive hobby.
When I first decided I wanted to try this, every time I saw stickers, I would buy them.
Big Lots used to have a great selection. I bought stickers every time I shopped there.
I found dimensional stickers at Gabriel Brothers for a dollar.
I also bought lots of patterned paper.

Now that I have some time to devote to putting a scrapbook together,
I've learned that I don't need all of those supplies.

What I need are the actual scrapbooks.
If you aren't a regular shopper at Goodwill, this might surprise you.
Goodwill is where I've found most of them.
As you can see, this will be great for a vacation scrapbook.

I'm sorry for the picture quality, but I wanted you to see the little camera charm.
I haven't made a scrapbook about my granddaughter yet.

This has a purple satin cover with the dress inset.

You can still see the Big Lots price sticker on this one.

You may notice that I'm drawn to travel scrapbooks.
Dear hubby and I have taken several trips that I would like to document.
Plus I have lot planned for our future.

The bottom scrapbook has the pages included.
I don't usually like those, but I have used them in the past.

Now that I have all these scrapbooks, I need to scrapbook more.

I also need to work on my picture taking skills.

Good scores Grammy Goodwill. I will have to check the bargain places for albums.
A really cheap album is one from Staples or other store like that. The three ring notebook style. You can put pictures in the sleeves on the covers. Those wouldn't be archival but if you use archival plastic sleeves on the inside on your photo pages, you are all set.

I love Goodwill and go there often. I'm always looking at small tables and small things to paint. I never thought to look for albums there. Now I will!

I can't believe you have found all of those at Goodwill! I never would have thought to look there. I bet they get snatched up fast. Good work!

I just don't have any luck shopping at thrift stores. They never have a thing I am looking for. I know folks that go thrifting and find all kinds of quilting stuff....but me????? NO WAY. Bummer. I'm glad you have good luck though, I love to see your finds.

Hi again....back to answer your question. Yes they really are having "Christmas in July" right now. They set up some new racks sorta close to the front and have been bringing stuff out of storage for a week now. Ends tomorrow; we're going over later today to take a looksee. And all at 50% off. We've got a great goodwill...lots of neat things come in and there is a big turnover.

Lots of great albums! I found a really sweet baby boy one to do for my Grandson's birth...haven't done it yet but maybe this fall? I am so far behind in everything. I need to get back to scrapbooking also.

I wanna see what you do with them!!

I have never had the "knack" for scrapbooking, I do it online and let them print out pages for me (cheating I know) but my pages always look like kindergarten art work!

You are a great bargain hunter indeed, I love a good deal.....
