So, here are 10 things on my do before I die list.
1. Fly in a hot air balloon. Or at least go up in one for a short time. The older I get, the more cautious I get. There's not much protection in those balloons, as beautiful as they might be.
2. Volunteer with a literacy group. Since I'm a retired teacher, I think I would be good at this. Currently, I'm tied up with Mom and Dad and unable to make the commitment that is needed.
3. Take dance lessons with my hubby. He needs to put this on his bucket list if it's ever going to happen.
4. Visit all 50 states. So far I've been to 23 and I'm 58. I'd better start traveling, don't you think?
5. Take piano lessons. Let me explain. I took lessons as a child and can play. But I never learned to improvise and that's what I would love to be able to do. I'm not even sure if that is something that can be taught.
6. Learn to sew.
7. Make a quilt. I actually have one I pieced years ago that I would be happy to finish. It's sewn together, just not quilted.
8. Run a 5K. I'm sure my daughter will laugh at this one. No, she'll encourage me.
9. Visit the Holy Land.

(I stopped adding clipart because I'm having trouble with blogger this morning.)
Favorite candy:
This would be a tie between Snickers and Reeses Peanut Butter Cups.
I hope you'll visit Vicki and add your own bucket list.

Good morning Grammy!
Great Bucket List!
I have never been in a Hot Air Balloon either (member's of my family have). I think it would be cool. I have been para sailing which has even less protection than the balloon and even though you are over water... going down would be a hard landing.
The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade ... WOW! I have been to NY and the amount of people is soooo overwhelming. I am not sure I would want to be in those crowds, but I bet it would be a fun and exciting time.
Have a great week!
~Vicki~
I did a huge bucket list once....it's on another blog! Enjoyed reading about yours!
very good list, hope your fulfill everything, yes, even the 50 states. There's a lot to be done! Looks like you got to start now!

I would be happy to finish a 1k run! So your bucket must be bigger than mine...
And about those dance lessons: just drag him along and he will learn to love them! I hope.
Hmmm, I guess I just want to live out the rest of my days happy and healthy... no bucket list for this gal. OH, and my husband would NEVER EVER take dance lessons so if yours will then how lucky you are. :-)
Wow, that is some list! Very exciting and interesting! Good luck at acomplishing them! Sounds fun! Thanks for the sweet comment!

PS. My older son, 25, spent 5 years in the Marines with 2 deployments to Iraq but is out now and getting ready to start college
Hooray for Peanut Butter Cups!
A great list you have there. I hope you get to do all those things. You've got a good start on all the states.

I can't believe how fast you move! I just came to visit and had to go back how many to see the cake plate? It was really a fun post!
Love your bucket list. I think it would be wonderful to see the Macy's parade too, especially from the balcony of a hotel so I could be up there with the balloons!
No hot air balloon ride for me. We were once given a gift of one but gave it to our son. My husband can't do heights and I am not happy about gas and flames being so close together.
I tried to include clip art in my blog too, but blogger wouldn't cooperate.
Go for your bucket list while you can. I started mine almost too late.

I am tired just reading your bucket list, very ambitious!
I live in NY and have never gone to the parade. I never figured out how people could go and still have the big family dinner! I guess they don't but I could never give up that tradition .
I guess I should make a list...nah. It would be like those New Year resolutions I never keep.
Have a wonderful Sunday!
I love your sense of adventure. You are much more daring than I am. I will probably see you on Dancing With The Stars someday. I will vote for you, too. hehe------Shannon
Hi Grammy,
How fun! What a long list of fun things to do. I've never been in a hot air balloon either. Is Oregon one of the states that you have never been to? If so, you guys can stay with us and I'll show you around and teach you what little that I know about sewing.
Have a wonderful Sunday,
Kathy M.
PS - I just updated that uniform post with the link to our whole trip ... if you like football that much you might like to see all the rest of the stuff.
