| One of my lovely cousins |
One of my cousins asked on Facebook if anyone knew how many grandchildren our grandparents had. There were eleven children in Mom's family, and I was able to count all of the grandchildren. There were a total of 34! One died in infancy and one died several years ago. That means I have 31 living first cousins - and that's only on Mom's side.
That made me curious enough to count the grandchildren on Dad's side. There were ten children. I think there were 28 grandchildren. Two have died as adults. That means I have 25 living first cousins on Dad's side.
Do the math and I have 56 first cousins!
Family is wonderful.

Oh I came from a huge family also. I had 54 cousins and 27 aunts and uncles. It was so fun since we all lived reasonably close and I got to see them all often. Great memories.
You mention my bathroom accessories. They came from Home Goods. Hopefully you can find some there. Hugs, Marty
Wow! I have 7 on one side and 4 on the other. Isn't FB fun to stay in touch with family? My blog has turned up other cousins, not so close but still important.

That's hurting my brain just thinking about it. lol! Something to think about. All of my grandparents had passed away before I was born. If I sat down and really thought about it I could figure it out.

It is amazing how the math goes! What a wonderful family. My son in law is the youngest of 10 and when their first was born she was number 29. I think they are up to almost 40 (or maybe more) now! I love big families.

awesome! I like big families. My mom and dad came from big families but strangely they have a tiny family on their own. Just me and my sister.

I only have 4 cousins. But 4 really, really good ones!
Ths is easy for me. On my Mom's side there are only 6.....since my cousin died last year. On my Dad's side......zero.....he was an only child. So not a big family for us at all.
