Good Intentions

Remember all the stuff I stuffed in my car? (I wrote that intentionally.) Instead of taking it to Goodwill, I took it to our local DAV Thrift Store. I laughingly told the lady my plan was to donate it all and not buy anything else. She said that never happened.

Well, she was right, but I only bought a small steamer. I hoped it would make removing the wallpaper in the bathroom easier.  It only cost $2. It didn't work.

Then I stopped at Tuesday Morning on my way home. I bought 2 Christmas decorations for 50% off. I hoped to use both of these in a Valentine vignette. I never made it.

I made one more stop at Kroger where there was an in-store special. Ham was 99 cents/pound. I quickly snatched up one and convinced another shopper to do the same. She was hesitant because they were huuuuuuge. I pointed out that the butcher would cut it for free. While I waited for him to cut and wrap mine, I also saw a sign that said they sharpen knives for free. Good thing to know.

I came home with my ham for Easter and one to eat before then. This I actually did. I baked the ham for a meal for my daughter and family when they came home from the hospital.

Do you have any  good intentions that never materialized?
