It's in the bag.

Let me start by saying that I am very cheap frugal. My dear husband often gets aggravated with me because I'll say I can't find something that I need, but then after badgering questioning by him, I'll admit that I don't want to spend the money. That's been the case with a new summer purse. I've been wanting one, and I knew in my mind what I wanted, but I couldn't find it at my usual stores: Kmart, Walmart, or any of my Goodwills.

I don't own designer bags, but I don't want you to think I needed a new purse. Here's a picture some pictures of my purses.

They used to be very organized in this hanging thing. I took most of them out except this purse that was a gift from my daughter.

When I took them out of here, I stuffed them in this straw tote that was also a gift from my daughter. Are you starting to see a pattern here? I think there are 6 purses in it.

Moving to the back of my closet are these three Hokie purses. I wonder where I've stashed my others. I know I have at least 4 more.

Now to the floor, and I don't know why they're there and not somewhere organized. The one on the right is my "winter" purse.  I've gotten lots of compliments on it. I've only used the other one once, but I can't bring myself to give it away. (I know, I know, I'm working on it.) The handle and divided sections just don't work for me.

Here is one my daughter bought me on her trip to Italy 10 years ago. I've used it some, but it won't hold much. Plus I broke the handle and the tailor said use it gingerly after it was repaired.
Notice that I haven't staged any of these pictures. Just showing you where I found them- I promise I'll put them away after I blog.

My niece gave me this one for hosting a bridal shower for her 5 years ago. I usually use this for church when I don't have to carry much.

This is the one I've been using all spring. I bought it at Target last year on clearance and have really loved it. It was just time for a change.

Here the is the new purse.

Isn't it beautiful? We went to Rugged Wearhouse and hubby spotted it before I did. I love it. And because I left my reusable bags in the car, we were even able to fit the rest of our purchases inside.

Can you see the price? It was $14.99 BUT see that red sticker? It was on sale for $10. I was willing to spend $20 so I was overjoyed with my bargain.

Did you find any good bargains while you were out?

I finally have a chance to participate in the newbies party going on at

(And I don't know how to make that location a hot one. I'm sorry.)

It was wonderful to see you at my blog!
