Making a list

It's Make a List Monday at Ordinary Days.

I found this party just in time because today I finally got some things accomplished.
When dear hubby came home from work, I was bemoaning the lack of a list so I could
mark off the things I finished. I love lists.

Then I was reading Ethnic Girl Fun
and started doing the happy dance. She wrote
about this linky party.

Here is my list for this week. I hope you don't mind that I've already
finished some of them. Yay for me.W

  • Walk 5 miles three times this week. (I've done it for today.)
  • Wrap baby shower gifts and wedding gift.
  • Take pictures for a future blog of the gifts.
  • Pull weeds in back yard.
  • Iron.
  • Visit Mom and Dad at least once.
  • Keep Cate. (Hehehe - that's my treat for the week.)
  • Decide which purse to give to Goodwill since I bought a new one. Do you follow that one in-one out rule?
  • Make some beachy things for the guest bathroom.
  • Decorate tray.
  • Get a pedicure.
  • Clean upstairs.

I can't show you the pictures of the gifts yet, in case someone reads my blog.
However, I can tell you that I used those wonderful totes
from Dollar Tree and they're full.
I am so pleased with how they turned out.
My daughter has 2 friends from high school who are expecting their first
babies a month apart. I had so much fun shopping for them.
The wedding gift is for hubby's niece who is getting married in
Baltimore in 2 weeks.
The beachy things will be a future blog. They're nowhere near as
nice as much of what you will find on other blogs, but they're a
start for me. They made me happy.

What do you hope to accomplish this week? Why not join the party?

Hi sweetie, I'm a list maker too, some get done, others just move to the next day. lol. Seems life gets in the way of getting every day tasks done, let alone fun things. Thank you for swinging by and leaving such a sweet comment.

this week my only goal is to get moved out of my apartment with NO issues! and not wreck driving the rental to VA to see my parents (i haven't driven a car in 6 months!).

if i was you, i would have gotten the "pedicure" line checked off first ;-)
