We had some time last week on our way to a local theater.
No, not that kind.
This kind.
I hadn't seen a Roses store in 20 years or more. My son went to doctor's appointments in Charlottesville, VA years ago. As a treat, he could go to Roses after he was finished. (We lived big back in the day.)
I had about 15 minutes to shop and I used that time well. Look at my finds.
Last summer we bought our granddaughter a pink plastic chair like this.
She liked it so much that it went to her house.
When she came over last week, she wanted a chair to sit in outside by her pool.
I had to drag out an old wooden school chair.

Since I love orange, I was thrilled to find these.
Yes, there's two of them.
Don't they make a nice seating area for her and a friend?
Or one for my house and one for hers, if history repeats itself.
And, I loved this Made in USA sticker. I've never seen one before.
The chairs were a thrifty $5 each.
Grampy Goodwill - aka dear hubby - found this nightgown for me.
It's 100% cotton. I find these to be so comfortable in the summer.
It looks like an old-fashioned housedress, but you would have to be my age
to even have heard that term before.

Again, it's my favorite color.
Beachy hand towel for the guest bathroom should brighten it up.
Since I bought this towel, I was inspired to do a little more decorating in there.
That will have to be another post.

These two candle holders were a dollar each.
Eventually I'm going to decorate our bedroom in a French inspired theme.
If that doesn't happen, then they'll move upstairs to my European themed craft room.
(Doesn't that sound fancy?)
Not bad for an unexpected 15 minutes of shopping.
Now I have a question for you. Do you like the pictures this size? I had automatically been sizing them to the smallest size after my first post when I had trouble posting a picture in the thumbnail. Then I read a blogging tip today that said bigger pictures were better so I went back to medium.
What do you think?

That chair can also be a spot for Caroline when she comes to visit! She loves those chairs. I use large pictures, just FYI.
I love all of your finds!! I know that Cate will enjoy it tomorrow and many days to come! And I like the pictures those sizes. I just checked mine and I use medium as well.
Hi, stopping by from A Creative Princess. We have a Roses across the street from my favorite place, Habitat Restore. I'll have to check it out next trip. Love what you found, especially the orange chairs!

Great finds at your Roses store and how lucky that there was much in your favorite color! The candle holders will be quite nice and functional. You knew that I would like the fleur-de-lis design.
Bises,

Oh, I like the larger size of photos.

I've never heard of Roses, but think I need to find out if we have any in Missouri! I adore the orange chairs! Thank you so much for linking up!
Thrifting is so much fun...the bet part is not knowing what you will find...looks like you had a great outing.
Thanks for stopping by my space.
