Finally....

I've wanted to write a blog since I retired a whole year ago, but I never could figure out how to add pictures. How dull would a blog be without pictures? (How dull will this be even with pictures?) After asking begging Cory to show me how to add pictures, we finally came up with a day that would work for both of us. She told me to bring everything I needed with me. I figured that meant the camera and this cord I found.

The cord should fit in the camera, right?

Well, it's not fitting in the camera.

I wonder what this cord does fit???



It turns out I didn't have the right cord and I also didn't bring my lap top. I just figured we would use her computer. So my patient daughter snapped these pictures of me on her camera and showed me how to add them.
After searching all day tonight and not finding the elusive cord, I did find the camera's manual. I decided to  look at the diagram and realized that the cord I needed to upload pictures was the very same cord I used to charge my camera! Now who thought of that idea?

So - I'm hopeful that tomorrow I can add pictures to this new blog and show you where Grammy came from and some of my Goodwill/thrifty finds. Please come back.
