I've been very lucky during the month of October. The first thing I won was this huge green pumpkin from Thrifty Crafty Girl http://thriftycraftygirl.blogspot.com/2011/10/31-days-of-halloween-fun-with-funkins.html
Priscilla has spent the entire month creating the most amazing things for Halloween. As I read each day's new creation, I realized I was in big trouble. What could I do with this big green funkin?
Cate is a small four year old, but that funkin was huge. I had thought about glitter, but there was no way Cate could handle that.
Although the tape with fragile printed on it reads this way, I found it interesting that the box was delivered standing. (See preceding picture if you've forgotten.)
Hubby was helping me unpack this. We both got excited when we saw this glimpse of orange. I knew what was coming, but he didn't.

I decided I'd let Cate decorate it.

I bought these pink gems - bling - at Walmart on clearance.
I love her little hands.
See how precise she was with where she stuck them.
Look at that concentration.
Here is the finished product complete with bow and ribbon.
Her mama said it looked like it had chicken pox.
Cate didn't know what that meant.
It came with a light, but there was no way Cate
would let us cut her creation.
Also this month I won a beautiful cake stand from Purple Chocolat
Look how big that box is! It's as tall as my dining room table.

Look at all that beauty! I didn't realize the plate stand would come apart to make three gorgeous cake stands.
Here it is in all its glory. I can't wait to load it up with Halloween goodies.
Thanks, Jacqueline.

Congrats on your wins. The green pumpkin looks cute the way she blinged it up. That cake/pastry stand is fabulous...again, congrats.
Oh, and that layout I did... yes the tree was part of the lazer cut design. I loved finding that at a garage sale last year. They are $5 each on the website.
Take care.
Wow! You sure did score ... I loved watching Cate decorate her pumpkin ... too cute. That cake stand is beautiful; what a wonderful gift.
Thanks so much for making me feel good about my book blurb yesterday, I started laughing out loud.
