Where do I begin?
No, this isn't a post about resolutions. It's more about my gradual re-entry into blogging. I've taken a break for a few months, and I really want to jump back in. I'm trying to catch up on your blogs and catch up with my life. Will it help you understand if I tell you that my Christmas tree is still up? (Don't worry - it's artificial.)
I just got back from Florida yesterday morning. (I took my parents to The Villages for the winter. More about that later.)
This morning - a mere 24 hours later - my dad called me to complain about how my mom was doing. (More about that later, too.) What can I do when I'm in VA? All I could do was listen and try to reassure him.
So ~ I feel like I have a short window of opportunity to accomplish my long list of things and also rejoin the blog world.
If this sounds disjointed, that's how I feel.
I hated to post without any pictures, so I'll tease you with a picture of the Panama Canal. I hope to blog about that trip soon.
One final comment - My dad just called again, trying to figure out his cell phone. At least this time he was in a good mood. Life is hard sometimes.
Have a great weekend, Friends.

I have missed you soooo much! So glad you're back, wish I lived closer and I'd help you somehow, any way, if I could. Hope your parents can remain there for the winter and enjoy the warm weather. Love that pic of the Panama Canal, can't wait to hear more. Hugs ~ Mary
I am just glad that you are back. Having aging parents is so hard esp. with being miles away.
Happy New Year.
My father and his wife live in The Villages too! No apologizing allowed for family taking you away from blogging. After all, they come first! I have had a rough start due to some stuff with my teenage son. I have had to move his schools in the last few weeks and it has been unbelievably stressful. The blog has suffered. Oh well...like I said, family first. Can't wait to hear more about The Panama Canal trip!
I've missed you dear one! I'll be praying for your parents and you as well. Looking forward to hearing about your adventures!
And let's not forget that in a few short weeks your GRANDSON will be arriving and will consume much of your time. :)
So great to see you back - and glad to see you here too! It's so hard caring for aging parents and now you will have a grandson too! My 92 year old Mom lives here in town. I can only imagine how difficult it would be if she were so far away.
Can't wait to hear more about the Panama Canal!
And Happy New Year!
Glad you're back! Sorry things have been tough for awhile but maybe blogging again will help ease some of the stress. Stop by to say Hey! when you have time.------------

We've missed you, dear friend, but totally understand that family comes first! I've thought of you often and pray that God would keep you in His hand. ♥
You do drink don't you? If not,...it sounds like it's about time to stary.
Welcome Home! It's good to have you back.
It can be very hard sometimes, having elderly parents, especially when you don't live that close to them. Good to see you back here, and I hope that things settle down for you again soon!
I'm glad you're back. I am dealing with my parents too and I know how frustrating it can be. I pretty much just go with the flow. To argue with them or try to explain things is a waste of time. I hope things settle down with them and you have some time to yourself. Sounds like you need it!
