Isn't this bedspread gorgeous?
I bought it years ago at an auction to dispose of the belongings of a dear church lady.
Now I no longer have a use for it. (I sold the bed last summer.)
I donate things to Goodwill, but I thought I'd share it with all of you before I do.
Or I might try Craigslist. It is so pretty that I might be able to make some money on it.
What do you think?

It's gorgeous! I would try to sell it first on Craig's List or perhaps to one of your readers. My answer got quite long about the Goodwill and why it might not find it's way into a good home. I better put it into a blog post.
First advertise it on your blog. I think it is beautiful. I love it.
The bedspread is beautiful so I bet you will be able to sell it right here on your blog. The bed is beautiful too. Someone was very lucky to get it. Good luck with the bedspread! ---------- Shannon
That is extraordinary! Such brilliant and luscious colours!
♥ it!!!
Is it chenille?? I can't tell from the pic. If it is, I will buy it from you.
Definitely try to sell it! If nobody wants it from your blog, maybe and antique store would want it.
That's beautiful! I would definitely try to sell it on CL or, like others suggested, sell it through your blog. That way you know it's going to someone who will truly appreciate it!
It's chenille, right? Oh it so pretty! I can't say I've ever seen a peacock chenille bedspread.
It is beautiful...is it chenille?...:)JP
This is too gorgeous to give away. Or you could donate it to a charity auction, but it is something that you want to make sure belongs in loving hands.
GG it looks like you have your answer from all the above comments and even a fellow blogger who's interested in buying this lovely bedspread. It's not my personal taste, but I'm certain folks in blogland or elsewhere would love to puy it from you. Donating to GOodwill is worthwhile, but sometimes it's OK to sell things too.
Craigslist for sure! You don't want to give that away!
Wow, that is so unusual. I have never seen anything like it befoe. It looks to be chenille. If so, I'm sure you could sale it easily. I wanted to thank you for commenting on my guest post at the Thrifty Groove. I really appreciated it.
Hugs,
Jann
It's beautiful!! Hey, you're back! I thought you had left blogland for good, so I'm glad to see that you came back.
It is beautiful. I love it! Before you part with it...do you have a wall you could hang it on? That could be really cool!
