Bad news/good news

I'm still trying to get in a routine with blogging.
I carry my camera everywhere.
I meant to take pictures today but I forgot.
That's the bad news.

I had a great lunch with a friend.
That's the good news.

When I opened blogger to write about lunch ~
I discovered I had lost a follower.

Maybe that's a common occurrence,
but it's a first for me.
That's the bad news.

I tried last week to check my followers list to see
if I were following all of their blogs as well,
but I know I didn't finish.
Is that why my follower left me?

Was it something I wrote?

Was I just too ordinary?

I don't think I'll look at that number anymore.

NEVER take that to heart. People do it all the time, really they do. I once had a lady stop following and she told me why, she said I made her feel inadequate and every time she left my blog she felt bad. Really? Anyone can spray paint is what I thought LOL. Perhaps they just realized its a blog they won't have time to read on, or perhaps they stopped blogging themselves...you really can't read too much into it. It does happen and will happen.

That happens to me from time to time. It seems like the next day or so that I gain on or two. Iknow when blogger had problems some people lost followers. I tried to to make sure that I followed everyone that follows me but some don't have blogs listed. Sometimes people just follow when you have a giveaway and then stop following. Don't worry about it. I enjoy your blog.

This has happened to me several times. The first time I was so upset and wondered what I did wrong. I guess some people change their mind and I try not to take it personally. It's hard not to feel bad though.

I'm not an experienced enough blogger to give advice but I do kind of know what you mean. I haven't gotten any new followers for months, and it makes me question my blog, my style, my content, etc. Then I remind myself of why I'm blogging in the first place and try to not let it bother me.

Hang in there, Grammy! I'm envious of your follower count! :)

Like Debbie said, never take it personally. It happens on a pretty regular basis. I do remember the first time it happened to me, it was so upsetting. After blogging for almost 3 years now, I don't even think about it. People leave for a gazillion different reasons. And there is absolutely no way you can please EVERYONE.

I'm pretty new in blogging myself, but please don't get discourage! I myself follow a lot of blogs via bloglovin, and it doesn't show on followers. :)

Thank you for your sweet comment on my blog. I'm trying to spread the word about modesty, beauty, femininity, frugal living, etc. to as many as possible. I guess I'm playing my little part in the world by doing that. I hope. :)

heck, don't feel like you have to keep up with everyone!! just go at your own pace....I can't read everyone everyday or I would have to sit in front of the computer 24/7 and never see a living soul!! I took pictures of some cows the other day for my family blog just to keep that one going (ya two blogs)
~giggle~If I did a table every day and then something pink every day I wouldn't see my hubby or my child or my friends or my sanity. Everyone laughs at me now cuz my camera is always flashing and I always pick it up and everyone runs.....but they always want to see this pic or that pic later on!!! So HA! on them>>>>>
