Goodwill tea set

I found it too late for our Mother's Day tea,
but I was successful finding just what I wanted at Goodwill.
All it takes is patience.
All of this was only $4.95!

There were three cups and saucers.

There was a sugar and creamer.
I wish I had a better camera to show the details.

Look at this sweet tea pot.
Aren't they just the cutest little figures?

Here is what the plates look like.

Cate and I have already had one tea party using this.

Very precious tea set. I have collections too, but had to put some away and recycle them after some time. I bring them out per holidays.

That is awesome!! WHere do you ladies find these fabulous thrift stores? We don't have ANY of the cool stuff you find! AND if we do find it, it is REALLY expensive!!!
That is why I call them "junque" stores. Because they don't have much good stuff, just junk. ugh.
Double Fabulous for you!!!!

I am so sorry! I don't know what a "no reply blogger" is!!!
I was away from the computer, but I didn't get your email. I think my button is messed up. Blogger is driving me crazy!!!

You are too kind to respond!! How awesome is that? 10 minutes away? Fabulous!!

I live in NJ, and I haven't found a goodwill store around here. I am way far from a real town. But next time I do travel an hour to shopping from time to time, and haven't found one. But I wasn't really looking either!! Next time, i will for sure!!!!

Thank you so much!! I am following you now, how could I have not>?

You can email me at

Wow! You did great on this find. I really enjoyed the post below, too, of your Mother's Day tea. I like the idea of using water; it is the best for us anyway, or so they say. I used to work with a lady who just drank hot water on her break, no tea or coffee added to it. Not sure why, maybe she didn't need any more caffeine?

Have a wonderful day,

Kathy M.
