Wisconsin Sunset

“A large drop of sun lingered on the horizon and then dripped over and was gone, and the sky was brilliant over the spot where it had gone, and a torn cloud, like a bloody rag, hung over the spot of its going. And dusk crept over the sky from the eastern horizon, and darkness crept over the land from the east.”
John Steinbeck, The Grapes of Wrath

Hi Grammy ... your picture is beautiful. I love John Steinback; nobody writes like he does.

Lovely sunset and words. Concerning your question about the mango crisp, any mango will be fine as long as they are very ripe. A little white sugar or brown sugar could be added to the diced mangoes if you think they are not sweet enough. Hope that helps. ----------Shannon
