Bill Cosby

BLACKSBURG – Comedian Bill Cosby will be the featured performer at Virginia Tech Union’s annual Laughriot Homecoming Comedy Show at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Burruss Hall auditorium.
There will be no opening act, and the show is scheduled to run from 75 to 90 minutes. All ages are welcome.

In a career spanning five decades, Cosby has gone from a hugely successful stand-up act that spawned several award-winning comedy albums, to an equally successful career in television with “The Cosby Show,” which TV Guide lists as one of the highest-rated sitcoms of all time. His other work includes the role of Alexander Scott on the 1960s television drama “I Spy” and voicing the cartoon character Fat Albert.
Cosby has also earned numerous awards throughout his career. He was the 2009 recipient of the Kennedy Center’s Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2002.

He was as wonderful as I anticipated. Almost two hours of comedy and not a curse word to be heard.

Oh gosh I bet he was awesome - he's like Robin Williams, just one look at his face and you start feeling like you're gonna laugh. Then he talks ...

Glad y'all got to see him, live and in person!
