Tailgate at the Tech-Miami Game

Saturday Va Tech played Miami. It was a beautiful day to tailgate.

Sorry, Daddy. I cut off your head to concentrate on the table. It was easier to do that than explain to him why I was taking pictures of the food. This week we had meatballs, fried chicken (from Kroger), wraps, potato salad (both from Sams Club), deviled eggs and potato chips.

I wanted to buy brownie bites, but there weren't any at Sams, so I had to fix some in that wonderful pan I told you about in an earlier post. Plus we had veggies and dip. Aren't those peppers just gorgeous? I even took some to eat during the game. (Don't tell security. You aren't supposed to take food inside the stadium.)

Did you notice the "VT" on the tablecloth? I should have taken this picture from the other side.

Can you tell there's not as many people there? Our friends are still in Hawaii. My brother and sister-in-law are in NY visiting their son and his family.

These two pictures are just to show you some of the people in the parking lot.

Now this is the best picture. This is my other brother, who isn't really a Tech fan. (He's a William and Mary graduate.) He tries to come to one game each season.

My son sat across from us. I think he's checking scores in this picture.

Oh, you didn't hear who won the game? Va Tech beat Miami, 38-35. It was a very exciting game.
