JoAnns Bargains

Aren't these the cutest little hangers you've ever seen?
I noticed them at JoAnns when I first saw the back to school stuff. I would have loved these back in the day when I taught third grade (for 14 years). Truthfully, I would have loved them even when I taught middle school math (for 10 years). But since I've retired, I couldn't really justify the price.

I couldn't think of a practical use for these.
Plus I knew I wanted to buy all three.
How could I choose just one from those cute faces?

I like the colors of the crayon.

I like the face on the scissors.

I like the ruler because I'm a former math teacher.

Guess what? Now they're on 70% clearance.
I bought all three of them - didn't have to choose -
for the price of just one.

I still don't know what I'm going to do with them.
But I know I love looking at them!

What have you bought recently -
just because you liked it?

Those are adorable!!! A math teacher??? That's awesome...do you miss it???

YES! We moved back into our former home--we didn't rent it out--just had friends take care of it since we were going for just under a year (which got cut short, of course, because of them moving Tom's Afghanistan trip up). So, we already had everything in place in terms of pictures/furniture. We had a small rental in Italy that came furnished. It would be so fun for you to do a pumpkin with your college colors! My neighbors do an adorable Auburn pumpkin with the blue on the orange!

Love/hugs/blessings,
Lana

These would be really cute on a flat board all together. You could put them in your craft room for painting smock for Cate or other bags? I always have a bag with a cross stitch project in it, one with a knitting project, and so on. Or it could just be a cute coat/purse rack for Cate? A Christmas present?

Those certainly are cute little hangers! I am also impressed that you used to be a maths teacher. I'm afraid that was one subject that I was hopeless at! :(

Those are so cute and such a great price too! I know, if it were me, I'd probably paint them white and mod podget them:) They would be awfully cute in a classroom though.

yes I do that too often and sometimes regretted buying somethig. Then I think thrice about buying something, and later regretted not buying it, human are strange creatures. Cute buys, I would say keep them and give away as gifts. That's what I do sometimes, buy when there's a sale and then give away later..oppss...is anyone else reading this?
