Prayers Please

Please say a prayer for my sweet mama.
She and my dad are in Florida for a week.

Dad called at 2 this morning to tell me that she had fallen and cut her head.
She is on a blood thinner so that is always a concern.

He called back to say she needed 6 stitches.
I worry about them so much.
Maybe you could say a prayer for me, too.

Thank you.

Luke 8:50
Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, "Don't be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed." (NIV)

Oh Grammy, I am so very sorry to hear that your poor mum had a fall. When they get older like that, I think this sort of thing really shakes them up. I pray that she will soon be healed, and that, more importantly, she doesn't suffer from any after-effects. I'm sure you must be very worried. Sending hugs your way and prayers for your mum.

HI Grammy.... I am so sorry to hear about your mom's fall.... I know exactly what you mean about your deep concern for your parents.... I am deep in the throes of my parents conditions... at 90 and 93 they are now in Assisted living but mom is so arthritic and suffers so much her is trying to get regulated on pain meds and thins just arent good for them now
Dad worries so much about her and it makes him worse...meanwhile between running back and forth with them, Lynn and I are desperately trying to get their home ready to sell... I am praying for both of our situations... and especially that your sweet mom has a good visit in Florida with no further complications or troubles and they return home safely in due time! Meanwhile I pray that the peace that passes all understanding comforts you and I both regarding our dear parents and that God's perfect wisdom guides us both through each new day and circumstance...God bless us!

Will do Grammy! My father is also on blood thinners, so I know that it's a lot of blood you see when they get banged up.

Ask and you shall receive...prayers coming your way from me, too. It is so difficult when those you love are far away and there is nothing you can do but pray. (I'm in a similar situation, so I feel for ya!) We must remember that God's hands are so much bigger than our own and He has our loved one(s) cradled in those very capable hands. ♥

Consider it done, Grammy- she is so beautiful...hope she's fine soon.

It's gotta be so tough for you to be so far away and so worried.

That is the only comfort I get losing both my parents so early - not having this kind of worry, though I would give anything to have them to worry about, still cannot possibly be easy.

Big hugs.

It's tough to deal with this stuff as parents grow older. Please don't worry...it is an exhausting energy that normally does nothing to prevent a thing. Your Mom wouldn't want you worrying. You are in my thoughts today...
