Can you see the difference? Can you tell how much taller/wider this plant is? I don't think it will fit through any of my doors. I've pruned it before, but it is getting so unmanageable. These plants belonged to my mother who started them from clippings from her mother, my grandmother.
They take up so much room in the house. Anybody have any good ideas about their care and upkeep?

Hi Grammy. What a lovely name for those plants - angel wings begonias. I have never heard of them before. And how wonderful that the plants started off with your grandma, and then your mother - priceless. I'm afraid I can't help you with how to look after them, but I'm sure someone will come up with an answer. I do hope so anyway, as you don't want to lose them.
I don't know how to take care of them, but that is so awesome that they came from a plant your grandmother started---start one for Cate/Kate.

First, that stone wall is awesome... we could not gather enough stones in our area to build such as this - hah!
I would cut three or four leaves to root in sand or water (opaque glass container) in a south-facing window over the winter. Save one plant, cutting it back to about 4 inches and do not overwater over the winter. Best of luck!
